Catherine (Cat) Stevens is a born and raised (yes now you know one) native of Las Vegas Nevada. That’s also where she successfully raised four beautiful children who subsequently gave her three amazing grandchildren. Married to her high school sweetheart Lee Browne she moved to Southern Indiana for her husband's employer initially but quickly found that she loves this area and the folks in this community a whole bunch too.
She started her real estate career in 2000 because someone said “You would be really good at real estate”! So she did that. She started with a national builder out of Atlanta Georgia building homes in Las Vegas. She sold new homes for two years. Cat quickly learned that real estate was far more than selling homes. “Real Estate is all about relationships” is what she believes and that philosophy works out well because people are her passion. In short order Cat became the Sales Manager of the Las Vegas Division for Beazer homes. She considers this the best education she ever had. Cat was involved in all aspects of the home purchasing process from helping choose a home, community development, architectural plans, design center, financing, title all the way through being in the field finishing houses with the construction team when need be.
If that weren’t enough Cat spent four years with Wells Fargo in the lending arena and a subsequent year with Indiana’s largest community bank First Merchants. Cat understands all sides of a transaction and is committed to creating an exceptional customer experience for her buyers. Her primary role is to ensure this for her customers as well as other partners to the transaction. She prides herself on being the Realtor that Realtors love to work with.
When she’s not rolling around these back roads with the tops off her jeep looking for your next home she’s either sailing with her husband at Patoka Lake with the sailing club or you may find her listening to live music drinking wine at Hubers!
There isn’t anything Cat hasn’t seen or been through herself so she relates to everyone from the first time buyer to the last time buyer! She wants to be more than your Realtor she wants you to consider her part of your family and once you’ve worked with her you will!
