About Cathy
"Eyes wide open" … that is how Cathy views her role in the real estate process for her clients. Whether buying or selling, Cathy’s goal is to help clients do so with complete transparency and provide them with the necessary information to make the decision that is right for. There are no right or wrong answers, and at the end of the day buying or selling a home is a very personal process. “Houses and spouses...you can't pick them for other people!” That said, as a lifelong resident of Larchmont-Mamaroneck, Kathy can share with her clients the questions they may not know to ask, and how those answers will impact their housing decision. Cathy prides herself on being painfully honest and will help clients see not just the trees, but the entire forest.
Prior to real estate, Cathy worked in institutional fixed income sales. After a decade-long career she then prophetically retired before the largest bond rally in history (oops!). Needless to say, Cathy can crunch numbers inside and out. She may also coax her clients to step away from the spreadsheet at times. Buying or selling a home for most people is a balancing act between the brain and the heart. It can be stressful and emotional, and Cathy aims to make the process as pleasant as possible.
Personally, Cathy has had the pleasure of growing up in Larchmont before living briefly in Brooklyn, Portland (ME), Greenwich and Stamford. She and her husband moved back to the area when their first child was born. What pulled Cathy back home was the ease of the commute, the vibrancy of the community and the walkability of the area. She now has four daughters who are currently thriving students at Mamaroneck High School. As a busy family, they are involved in many areas of the community and their true passion is sailing.
The fiber of the community is why so many of people live here. Cathy looks forward to sharing it with you.
