I was a first time home owner at the age of 63 and I didn't know what to expect. My friends shared all of their home buying horror stories but with the right agent (Cathy Hallow), my fears were put to rest. Early in the process when I was searching for homes, Cathy continuously sent me photos, links and introduced me to a website that kept all the information in one place for me. This was a gem of a tool. If she didn't hear from me in one week, she sent an email/ text or called me. I never felt alone during this daunting process. Cathy kept the ball rolling at all times which is what the serious house hunter needs to be able to do to find that one and only house for them. When I decided on the perfect home, Cathy went through all the documents, explained the process from start to finish that I would soon be a part of as well as the various people that would suddenly be involved in my life. Her numerous explanations assured me she was all about professionalism and the client. As documents came in from the title company, lawyers, bankers, etc. and I didn't understand what I was signing, even after a phone call to the former and still not understanding the documents, Cathy was able to break the material down for me and give me peace of mind. I don't know if all real estate agents attend their client's closings, but she was there for me! Not only did she keep keep me on track, but when I truly believed I would never close on the home, her patience with me never faded and there is a bonus when dealing with Cathy, her humor makes the entire process a whole lot easier. Buying a house is a long and arduous process. If I decide to move when I retire, Cathy Hallow will be the real estate agent for me. One needs humor, patience and expert knowledge to assist them through their journey of purchasing the home of their dreams.
