Growing up on the east coast, Cathy’s father served 22 years in the Marines and made her no stranger to arduous work or relocating. After graduating high school in Texas, she became a four-year veteran of the Marine Corps. She made her final home here in Eastern North Carolina where she has been a resident since 1986.
