Cathy performed an outstanding job with the sell of our home. It was under contract within seven days of listing for above our listing price. She was always prompt at keeping us abreast of everything happening along the way and when we experienced an unexpected issue from the the buyers at the every end, she worked hard to do everything she could on our side and make sure we were protected. Closing was only extended by less than one week but she still made sure we were compensated and that closing happened smoothly. I would’ve have trusted any one else with the sell of our home and can’t recommend her highly enough. Professional, trustworthy, and honest are how I’d describe Cathy and her team.

Cathy and her team are AMAZING! We met Cathy, completely by chance, when we found her on the Internet in 2007. We were buying our very first home. We were living in Maryland at the time and over the course of two weekends. Cathy took us from one end of the county to the other and, I swear, showed us about 30 houses.

We reached out to her this year when we decided to move again and were paired up with her and Janice Singh. We were provided weekly lists of homes within our criteria, but found one home that we absolutely loved so we didn’t have to spend full lot of time looking at too much. Janice was in constant contact with us and kept us abreast of anything that needed to be addressed. I would recommend Cathy’s Home Team to anybody!

Cathy had been helping us find the farm property we wanted in NOVA (not a simple task!) when we learned that we were actually transferring south. As our buyer agent, she was diligent, dedicated, and understanding. We were very grateful for her as she dug into restrictions on each property we considered.

When we learned we were leaving the area, of course she was the person we trusted with the sale of our home! She knows everything (Literally, I think everything) about the Dominion Valley community.

Though we went live just as the interest hikes were coming quickly, she sold our home to the first family who saw it! She handled the complicated relocation process with ease and grace and made everything manageable.

Cathy Strittmater and her team were amazing to work with! They helped us sell our home in Warrenton, VA and also buy our new, forever home in Haymarket, VA. Cathy and team advised us well in getting our home in Warrenton, VA prepared to sell. They pulled great comps and then sat down with us to look at them and help us determine how we wanted to move forward. Throughout the entire home-selling process Cathy and team were unbelievably responsive and answered every question we had, which was a lot as young home buyers. I was blessed enough to find Cathy and her team through a google search. We were moving across the country from New Mexico to Northern Virginia and we needed boots on the ground to help us find the perfect home and location for our family. We talked to her at length and she really listened to our needs and wants. I flew across the country to tour homes with Cathy. Cathy Strittmater was our agent when we first bought our townhouse in 2017 and we absolutely loved her then! But this time around, she was even more amazing! We were both selling our townhome and looking to buy a single family home in the area. She gave us amazing tips on how to prepare our home for sale, all of which we did, and then helped us figure out just how much we should be listing our home for- which we ended up selling above asking thanks to her! With her tips for preparing our townhome, negotiating skills, and knowledge of the local area, she helped us sell our townhome for the highest price in our area. She guided us through every offer we received and talked us through the pros and cons of each one too, which really helped us make our decision easy.

When it came to buying our next home, she went above and beyond, helping us at the drop of a hat to see homes that came on the market as soon as possible- especially with the market at this moment, it was crazy how quickly things would come on and go off, so getting in to see these homes quickly was essential. We ended up finding a beautiful home in a great area and she helped us make the steps to purchasing. Cathy Strittmater was great to work with, and helped navigate a number of issues that came up throughout the process of selling my parents' condo. We had a buyer back out at the last minute, had to do renovations and even had to weather a leaking water heater from the upstairs condo that damaged our unit right before it went back on the market. But Cathy smartly handled it all and throughout the several months this all took -- the market was slow during the pandemic -- she quickly replied to all my many emails and phone calls as I worried about everything. She knew how to find contractors for every job, was always available and I don't know how we would have gotten this done without her unfailing help. I highly recommend Cathy as your realtor, she will get it done.

My wife and I couldn’t be happier with Cathy. My parents have used her for multiple transactions, and were very pleased, so we enlisted Cathy to help us buy/sell recently.
She knows everyone in the industry and is an expert on any issue that can surface. The market is crazy now and making offers without contingencies is risky. She guided us through the process and was 100% correct in all of her predictions. She helped us get our house on the market in less than two weeks. We ended up with over a dozen offers and a sale price significantly over asking.
Buying/selling is stressful anytime, but much more so during the pandemic. Cathy is amazing. She works tirelessly for you. My mortgage broker even said that he used her for 3 transactions!

Cathy really knows the market!  It's almost like she has a crystal ball.  As out-of-town-owners, we could not be happier.  From our initial contact, Cathy advised us on what the market conditions were and what we needed to have done to prepare our house for quick sale.  From picking out the finishes and supervising every step of updating our home, she was professional, courteous and reassuring.  She kept us informed and sent pictures during the whole process, and never failed to answer our calls or emails.  The finished renovation was within the budget we discussed and it turned out BEAUTIFUL.  We almost wanted to move back in and not sell!  I told her I think she should start her own reality TV show.  Chip and Joanne Gaines have nothing on Cathy!  Oh By the way, our listing went active on a Friday and we had a signed contract on the following Monday.  Cathy is the best!!!
