It has been a great experience working with Cathy! She has my best interest at heart! She is also very responsive. Whenever I needed her, she is there. She gets the house viewing appointment right away and in front row so we don't lose opportunities. We have visited many houses. My Dear Wife and I are delighted with the way Cathy handled the sale of one of our rental properties. She showed it for 3 days and got 11 offers! We had our pick of the highest and best. Before we met Cathy we'd had a price in mind. She suggested something higher, and it sold higher than that listing price! That paid for her commission and then some! She made everything so easy, it was all smiles. I'm very glad I decided against FSBO, I probably would have made myself miserable. I'd already recommended Cathy to friends, before we'd even closed. We have known and worked with Cathy Verne for more than seven years. We hired her for the purchase of an investment property and we were very happy with the outcome. It was a pleasure working with her. She was always available to show us properties and guided us to a successful closing on a house of our liking.

Cathy’s professionalism and superior service came through when we were trying to sell our home in Newark, DE. After three months with another agent we hardly had any showings and our listing languished on the market. That was when we parted ways with the agent and hired Cathy. Not only did we see significant uptick in number of showings, in just a few weeks we had a contract. Quite remarkable. Our only regret was that we hadn’t hired her much earlier.

It is a testament to our great satisfaction with her service that we just hired her for a third time to help sell another property.

When we first met Cathy she was the seller’s agent for a property we were looking at. We were so impressed with her professionalism and her friendliness that we engaged her services as our buying agent. If you are looking for a realtor that wants you to love the house you buy, Cathy Verne is the realtor for you. I used Cathy when I bought my first house (townhouse). She was key in helping me feel comfortable and helped me to understand things such as USDA and FHA. As well as other things you don't think about such as Natural Gas, Septic, Well, HOA. After a few years I outgrew my townhouse; got married and was ready to start a family. Cathy helped me sell and buy my current house. One thing that I appreciate most about Cathy is her patience. We must've looked at 30 houses before finding the one. Fast forward to today, I've outgrown my home, that's what happens when you have a kid..lol I'm looking forward to working with Cathy again as we find another home that fits my growing families needs.

I'm a repeat customer of Cathy's. The first time was in 2008 when the housing market took a dive. I'd gone to a total of 5 agents for an eval of my home's worth. The 1st two were $95,000 apart, which is why I kept looking. Cathy's eval was in the middle and the home sold for right in that ballpark. She was referred to me from a co-worker who spoke to her honesty and ability to put the buyer at ease. Cathy conducted several open houses for us, as the market was so soft. Always informed and pleasant, a great listener, hard worker and problem solver.
The second time was in 2017 and the condo was priced perfectly. It sold with the first and only showing, and after their third offer, for the asking price with no settlement help. No open houses this time! I wish I'd have bought from Cathy, after the first house sold. She's straight up and knows the market. I'm now out of the area, but I'm using her if I ever buy in the area again!
