About Catie

Throughout my career, I've been deeply involved in real estate. In the late 1990s, I seized the opportunity to become a Certified General Appraiser (CGA) in Ohio. I successfully ran my appraisal company for a decade before taking on the role of Appraisal Reviewer for the largest mortgage company in the country. Continuing to advance, I became an Appraisal Underwriter.

In 2006, I expanded my horizons even further by obtaining my real estate sales license, and that's when I truly found my passion. Drawing upon my previous experiences, I now serve as a REALTOR and Sales Executive for Comey & Shepherd Realtors. While I still hold my CGA license, I only utilize it to benefit my clients. Additionally, I've achieved the prestigious Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation, the esteemed Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, held by less than 3% of all REALTORS nationwide, and was humbled by being named Southern Ohio Association of REALTORS 2013 Realtor of the Year. In recent years, I obtained a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation, an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation, and an At Home With Diversity (AHWD) designation. These additional achievements further enhance my ability to represent sellers & buyers effectively.

Catie has helped me two times and both experiences surpassed my expectations. She recently helped me buy my retirement home remotely because Covid precluded traveling. She took extensive photos and helped me get a mortgage broker as well as providing me with many useful local resources. I just can’t say enough about her. She helped negotiate the transaction expertly and her experience is considerable in these matters. She has a wonderful instinct for attracting a positive outcome in every situation we encountered. I owe my future happiness to her!

After retirement, my husband and I decided to move to Cincinnati to be closer to our kids. My daughter-in-law gave us Catie’s name and I’m so glad she did! We discovered that Catie is very organized and professional as we started on our new home search. She was there for us when we had a major set back with our first chosen home (through no fault of her/our own) and had to continue our search which did result in a more perfect home for us!
