Chelsea Pena

Florida born, New York-raised, I moved back to Florida after I graduated from studying overseas for a few years. During and after my terms, I’ve been able to become an advocate for volunteer work. They include support with orphanages (India), American Embassy events (Egypt), Wounded Warriors Projects (New York City), and Feed a Healthcare Hero (Venice, FL). Over the course of living in Sarasota County for many years, I’ve been able to attend USF as an Environmental Science major as well as build a life with my new family in our first home. While the experience was a thrill, it was also quite overwhelming. Nonetheless, I knew exactly how I wanted to incorporate my passion by helping others along with my personal experiences. I’ve grown up with a large family and major support system that has taught me the importance of honesty, commitment, values, all while making life fun. Looking forward to watching our county flourish and helping us get there.
