About Chelsea
As a marketing major at the University of Georgia, Chelsea Yearous elected to take an entrepreneurship certification course, which opened her mind to possibilities beyond a corporate career. She wanted to be her own boss. Real estate had always been a backup plan, but after getting her license during her senior year of college, she developed a passion for the industry and realized there was no better time than the present. After graduating with honors, she immediately went to work as an agent in Atlanta and never looked back.
With significant experience in new home sales as well as resale homes, Chelsea is an empathetic problem-solver who enjoys helping clients navigate the world of real estate and make sound financial decisions that profoundly impact their lives. Balanced and authentic, clients know they can trust her to offer honest feedback at every stage of the process and make sure their interests are protected. She's committed to being a hands-on, one-on-one agent-detail-oriented, organized and communicative-and is known for her presence of mind, level-headed thinking and calm, reassuring demeanor during emotional moments in a negotiation.
She believes the relationships built early on in an agent's career are the ones that come back around and is grateful to have outstanding connections with agents, inspectors, attorneys and vendors, as well as the support and referrals of her clients. Real estate, to her, is exciting because it's about working with people at key moments in their lives (engagement, marriage or a new baby, etc.) and being a part of that moment.
As a fan of different types of architecture and interior design, she enjoys homes for their charm and character; and as a resident of Inman Park, she loves her neighborhood for the mix of historic homes and new development, the walkability and the energy of the people. An Atlanta native, she loves the sports teams, the food scene, the melting pot of cultures and the blend of the old and new. She is active on the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board, and when she's not working with clients, you will most likely find her in a golf lesson or on the Atlanta BeltLine-walking to restaurants, meeting up with friends or walking her dog, George.
