With a Master's degree in Criminal Justice, she began her career as a Collections Corporal for the Mobile County Sheriff's Office- Metro Jail before transitioning into forensics with the Alabama Department of Forensic Science. As a Forensic Pathologist Specialist, Chenease conducted death investigations and assisted the Medical Examiner for the state of Alabama with autopsies.
