Cherae Kepler

Cherae Keplers’ journey into Real Estate has been a bit long and winding, but it was a path that led her to pursue what she is most passionate about. Born in a small town in Arizona, she later moved to South Lake Tahoe, with her family. Cherae has been a proud Northern Nevada resident for over 26 years. In 2008, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, from the University of Nevada Reno, in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration. To advance in her career in law enforcement, she acquired her Basic Reserve POST Certification. After graduation, Cherae ended up pursuing a corporate career with the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board, eventually accepting an opportunity with GE Oil & Gas as a Project Coordinator. She spent 4 years working as a Reserve Deputy alongside her husband, Derrick, a full-time Deputy Sheriff. While she loved the experience a career in Corporate America offered and was grateful to pursue a full-time opportunity in law enforcement, she decided neither would support the work-life balance needed to successfully juggle a career and a family, so she decided it was time for a change. Cherae wanted a job that would allow her to support her family while also providing a flexible schedule for her young daughter. She decided to pursue a career in Real Estate. “Ignorance is bliss! I thought it would be so easy,” Cherae said with a laugh. She really enjoys looking at houses, how they are designed and decorated. Cherae quickly realized it was not easy. The hours were long and the competition fierce, but she was up for the challenge. She realized it wasn’t the homes she loved so much. It was the people she met every day and the meaning she finds in helping others. Cherae feels it is a privilege to work with her clients. “They are the sole reason I continue to afford the luxury of time to spend with my husband and daughter. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to serve others”.
