Moving from N. Easton, MA to North Port, FL in 1985 was not easy for Cherie, but living in this tropical climate/paradise helped her to adjust quickly! She graduated from Venice High School in 1988 then went on to fulfill a lifelong dream and became the Owner/Artistic Director of Cherie’s Dance Studio, teaching all types of dance to all age groups. Cherie then joined her mother, Lucille Mitton, as her assistant in real estate in 1997, and by 1999, they were partners as a Mother/Daughter real estate team. She has since retired as Cherie continues to grow & learn in this awesome industry, receiving her Broker’s license in 2020. She now lives in Venice, FL, and is the proud parent of an adult son. Cherie is referred to often as a “people person”, which is why she guesses she loves being a Realtor®! Her main goals in life have always been to do her very best in whatever she chooses to do, to always help people however she can, to be honest and fair with herself and others, and to smile and laugh as much as possible!
