Real Estate has been a part of Cheryl’s life for approximately the past 35 years. She and her husband, Charlie, have purchased and sold about twenty-five investment properties and specialized in executive rentals in the West Des Moines and Waukee areas. Buying and selling a home is very personal and their brokerage philosophy focuses on meeting their client's needs whatever that may be. They have tried to streamline the buying and selling process to make it as stress-free as possible providing the resources that each sale requires including financing, inspections, and legal oversight. Cheryl and Charlie’s clients are able to take advantage of the professional experience that they have gained after years of going through the process themselves and with other clients. No two deals are ever the same and they make adjustments accordingly. Most of their business is now from referrals of past clients and friends, so they cherish those relationships made strong over the years. They enjoy working with single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, farm grounds, and acreages.
Cheryl and Charlie have resided in the Waukee community and raised four children there. They are especially thrilled to be working with their oldest sons, Charles and Andy, in the real estate business today under their own brokerage firm, Goodall Properties. Jenny also has her real estate license and works for Jones Lang LaSalle in commercial office leasing for the Principal. Michael graduated in 2013 from Iowa State University and is a consultant for Keyot Solutions and is assigned to a Wells Fargo office in West Des Moines. All four of their children have homes in Waukee and live just a couple miles away which Cheryl feels makes her the luckiest Mom ever. Charlie retired after 40 years at Nationwide Insurance and now is all of their “right” hand because he has the time but is busier now than ever. Cheryl is also retired from a 25-year career with the federal government in the human resources area.
Cheryl grew up on the family farm in Perry and her mom, Eldora Whiton, still resides in Perry.
