"It's Your Move!" Cheryl's client-centered business approach focuses on what works best for her sellers and buyers, their wishes, and their timing. "Years ago, I had a wonderful client who hired me to list her home. After a couple of weeks, she felt like the time was not right to sell. 'This is your livelihood, but this is our life,' the seller said. That rang so true to me," Cheryl says. She keeps this in mind, always remembering that the work of helping someone buy or sell a home is about their life, their family, their home.
Cheryl has spent much of her life on the North Shore. She has lived in Glencoe, Wilmette and Highland Park, where she and her husband raised three daughters, now in their 30's and living on their own. When her daughters were young and her husband's job required relocating their young family to St Louis, she developed a great understanding of the challenges facing families who relocate. Cheryl loves her work as a real estate broker. When she's not spending time with wonderful clients, she enjoys hiking and biking on the Green Bay Trail, taking the North Branch Trail to the Botanic Gardens near her Highland Park home, picnicking at Ravinia Festival during the summer, and cooking and baking for family and friends who often seem to end up on her screened porch, her favorite room in her home. In 2019, she self-published a cookbook memoir called, "My Bossy Baker."
