Chester hails from North Carolina with 25+ years of training in sales, marketing, and management through Xerox University. Chester has been a resident of Columbus, Georgia for twenty-six years. He received his Biology Degree from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University.

Chester is currently Chair of the Muscogee County Tax Assessors Board, Chair of the Work Force Board, and Board Member for the Valley Rescue Mission. Chester is married to an educator, Carolyn. Together, they have three adoring daughters; Nikki, Sonyé, and Onya, and two precious grandchildren; Xavier and Alaina.
