“I have a strong family community,” Chisay explains. “They are hard-working entrepreneurs who understand that caring for people is what brings true success. We care for each other and our neighbors.”
This understanding of caring for neighbors came from experience. When Chisay's parents moved to California from Japan, a real estate agent took advantage of them as immigrants. “In business, you have many opportunities to help and to hurt,” she explains. “Helping people through business is a passion of mine.”
Chisay’s family built the Mikuni Sushi Restaurant Group that is currently nine restaurants strong with a foundation that gives money to local charities.
It was by working in the family restaurant that Chisay learned the importance of excellent client care. In 6th grade, she had her first job as the door holder and welcomed guests while wearing a kimono! As her skill and responsibilities grew, she moved to hostess, caterer and eventually, sushi chef.
While gaining work experience, Chisay’s education included Granite Bay High School and then Holy Names University where she majored in Business Management and Marketing. As the University Golf Team Captain, she was able to garner several awards including Pac West Scholar Athlete of the Year, Female Student Athlete of the Year, Utah Dixie State Tournament Champion, and many more.
It was after college that her career path became clear. Chisay loved her hometown and wanted to serve her neighbors through business. A career in real estate seemed like a natural fit as it would enable her to serve her community of Placer and Sacramento County and beyond.
Chisay earned her real estate license in 2019. She received comprehensive training while working at KCM Property Management, interning with Mimi Nassif, and joining The Cynthia Smith Real Estate Team.
Today, Chisay offers a complete range of services for her clients looking to sell, buy or invest in real estate. She helps clients receive the best offer possible with staging and a robust marketing strategy. She is a client advocate with a commitment to educating and communicating every step of the way.
When not serving her clients, Chisay loves to golf, travel to Japan to visit family, and hike with her dog, Milky.
