Before settling there, they lived, studied, and worked in various parts of the country—Chris in Ohio, Iowa, and Georgia, and Bob on the East Coast—and they are grateful to now call the Northville area their home. Their oldest son is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and works in the financial industry in Manhattan, while their youngest son graduated from Michigan Technological University and is a computer engineer, living in Rochester, MN.

Over the years, they have taken on various roles within their church and volunteered in many capacities as their boys grew up—whether coaching soccer, managing teams, serving on the PTA Board, or contributing elsewhere. In their spare time, they love reading, running, biking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
