Chris & Cendrinne are a great husband and wife team that bring a lot of value. They also have some staff to assist in the day to day stuff as well making easy access to the entire Demattei team. I chose them specifically for their experience and knowledge of the Citrus Heights area. We were able to sell our house for top dollar as I followed the recommendations of Chris and Cendrinne. Chris' knowledge and strict review of offers and their pros/cons were an absolute strength and it instilled confidence and trust in making decisions. They were honest and very personable. They really knew the area and have a digital platform setup which include a platform for private showings and a digital experience for communication and documents. I was well informed and they were easily accessible. Everything was simple, efficient, and streamlined. I'll definitely reach out to them again if I ever want to buy/sell. Highly recommended if you are looking to buy/sell in the Citrus Heights area.

Chris went above and beyond on both the front end and the back end of the entire home purchasing process. Chris listened to our wants and needs and scoured the area to find us the perfect home. After the purchase was complete we identified an issue that was undisclosed by the previous owner, Chris and his team fought for us over months in order to justify and correct the issue. I plan to work with Chris on all future purchases and I will recommend him to my friends and family.

My husband and I recently worked with Chris DeMattei to find and buy our new home, and we couldn't have worked with anyone better at guiding us through the process of becoming first-time homeowners.

The process of finding a home and getting an offer accepted took us about 2.5 months, and he was always available, even last minute, to show us any homes we were interested in seeing. From the first phone call to the last, he always picked up the phone no matter how many times I called, and clearly communicated even the most complicated of details.

He is very professional, friendly, and doesn't put any pressure on you to move forward with something you don't 100% love. In fact, he was there to support me and talk to me when I was crying about moving away from San Francisco, and really made me feel better in a tough moment.

After our offer was accepted, the efficiency of the DeMattei team was incredibly impressive. They scheduled all required appointments and sent/filed all necessary paperwork without delay, and never let anything slip through the cracks. Again, Chris took the time to go through even the most boring/complicated details in the paperwork, and answered the myriad of home improvement questions I had about the house.

Chris would be my first call if I was ever interested in buying a new home, and I would 100% recommend Chris and the DeMattei team to anyone who is ready to buy!

We worked with Chris and Cendrinne to both sell and purchase a new home in 2020 and recommend them in a heartbeat.

From our first interaction they were friendly, thoughtful and kind – giving us as much info as we needed to make an informed decision about whether to sell or to add on to our existing home.

Once we decided to move, Cendrinne helped us find and purchase our new home - which given the COVID housing market was no simple task. Cendrinne was always quick to respond to emails or texts about a new house that had popped up. We truly enjoyed touring homes with her, and she always knew what questions to ask of the sellers. She was always transparent about the value (and any issues) she saw in a home, and that helped us to navigate the complicated market and purchase of our new house.

Chris managed the sale of our existing home – which again, with the COVID market was no easy feat. Chris was always consistent, communicative and clearly had our best interests in mind. He was always available to chat with us and help us think through our options. We had some challenges with our buyers, but always felt confident in his expertise, knowing we were in the best possible hands. We all celebrated the day our house finally closed.

We would certainly use the DeMattei team again!

I own rental properties, for about 25 years my personal residence was in the same development as many of my rentals. I first met Chris about 20 years ago as he was going door to door delivering flyers that listed recent home sales. He would do this a number of times each year and I would occasionally talk to him. I recently decided to sell one of the rentals. It had been a rental for about 25 years and needed a great deal of improvement. The realtor that i had been working with passed away
and so I called Chris. The big question was sell it as is or do improvements to increase its value. Though there was no contract between us Chris offered his advice freely and I followed it. I did a complete a complete remodel. The house sold at well above the
market value for that neighborhood setting a new standard.

Many agents mail out info and claim to be area specialists. Chris really is an area specialists as he has been walking the sidewalks for many years. Chris is very knowledgeable, his advice is accurate and dependable, he is professional but still personable. I still have properties in that neighborhood and when the time comes to sell them I will call Chris.

Chris DeMattei sold the house that couldn't be sold. Another realtor actually turned me away. Chris isn't one of those overly smiley, overly-friendly cutie-pie "fakes" that are all over real estate. But what you DO get is an absolutely committed professional realtor who pulls absolutely no punches and has your best interest in mind. I could not be happier!

Chris helped us sell our house in Roseville. He has a great knowledge of neighborhood and Roseville real estate market. We interviewed few local agents and none but only Chris offered us a light staging from his pocket. You choose an agent who is willing to go that extra mile for you. He suggested us to price the home little more than what we were thinking we could get (his expertise helped us see the potential), and eventually we ended up getting multiple offers within just 5 days of listing and all above asking. Chris DeMattei is exactly the kind of realtor we needed for our most recent home transaction. We’d worked with Chris ten years previously, but all was relatively easy-peasy back then, so we didn’t truly appreciate Chris as much then as we do now.

Chris was able to hone in on what we really wanted and was often the voice of reason when he realized we were likely to throw away our list of requirements because a particular house was so darned cute. I was particularly impressed that Chris had come to know us enough that he recognized when a house we were working hard to fall in love with wasn’t truly for us, even if it really was a great purchase, and he did not hesitate to say so.

When we finally found THE house, the offer and escrow were fraught with landmines carefully laid by the seller, but it was due to Chris’s bulldogging that we able to reach our destination with an unbelievable 30-year home. Every day we marvel that we actually found and bought the house we dreamed of and are terribly grateful for Chris’s tenacity and honesty in getting us there. I'm sure it's hard to keep clients grounded and prepared for the worst. Thanks to Chris, we always felt ready for whatever was going to happen, even if things weren't going to end up going our way. But we're so grateful it worked out and we know it was due to Chris’s professionalism and experience.
