Little late in doing this since I bought my house July of 24 but here we are. So I used Chris Kew's team to help me find and buy my first house! He and his team worked with me for over 4 years to find what was right for me and never pushed anything that wasn't right and never rushed things. If they thought a house I wanted to look at wasn't a good fit they straight up said which I appreciated! I am so grateful for their help and dedication. At the time, I started looking at homes on Zillow because I thought “if I’m paying $1300 a month for a rental, why not buy a home instead “ and decided to start my search. At first I was intimidated because it was my first home and I didn’t know where to go or which direction to take but then I was directed to Brooklin Griffis and man when I tell you she went above and beyond for us, I really meant it. Not only was she so professional, she was also very personable because we felt so comfortable with her, she was so easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and very informative. When my wife and I moved back to Iowa from Texas. The house hunting began 30 days later. We were very specific to what we wanted. As everyone knows, buy a home is one of your biggest decisions in your life. Chris was very patient with us and we must have seen 10 to 15 homes. At that time the market was hot 🔥. Many of them were sold while we were touring them. Chris never showed frustration, upset instand he would encourage us. By telling don't worry I will find you, your home. When my sister and I unexpectedly became responsible for selling our parents house we listed it first with another agent, and the home didn’t have any movement let alone serious showings. After working with 2 previous realtors and being told I was looking for a unicorn, I signed up on the Dave Ramsey Solutions website on February 11th to find an Endorsed Local Provider. Three different realtors contacted me and Chris Kew was one of the realtors. I was very specific on what I wanted and Chris kept me updated to let me know that he was actively looking for a home for me. On March 15th he contacted me at 5:00 pm to let me know he had a home for me to look at and he got me a showing at 6:30 pm to see it! While I was looking at the house I didn't feel pressured or like I was taking up too much of his time. It was truly a pleasure working with Chris and Amanda. My situation had several unique challenges and they navigated them and advised me expertly and patiently.

The area I lived in is quite rural so the market was tougher to negotiate. Chris had a professional photographer come in and they took great pictures, including arial pictures of my property with a drone. This is a must do. Chris did a great job of advertising in multiple venues, getting the acreage seen by many potential buyers.

One of the most common pieces of advice I got from homeowners was “find a good realtor, make sure the realtor knows what they’re doing” right off the bat I knew Chris was in it for the long haul no matter how many houses we looked at, how many questions we had, or what time of day he would need to meet up for a showing.
