There are a ton of great reviews here on Chris and his team. You can believe them. Super competent and easy to work with. We had proposals from 3 agents. His pricing was not the lowest but I believe he netted us far more $$ in a stress free sale. Actually it's hard to write this review - there are just too many good things to say. He is way better at real estate than I am at writing a review. It can be stressful picking a person to work with. Talk to Chris. If he says he can help you, go with him. You can't do any better in my opinion.

We had been trying to sell our house for three years but it needed fixing up if we were to pay the bank off. We contacted Chris to see what he could do for us. We were trying to avoid dropping 20-30K on it to sell it. Chris just took it and within a week, selling as is, we picked up almost 40 k in net proceeds. How cool is that?! This guy is Superman. Initial things that come to mind about Chris and his team: straightforward, honest, professional, and responsive.

Chris and his team delivered results and come at 2.5 % commission vs the industry average 3%. The .5% is not a huge deal…

What really mattered to us was selling quickly for a good price.

I cannot even tell you how glad we were to have selected Chris Ognek for our home search. How good was our experience? I’m returning to write a review for a house he helped us close on but couldn’t help us buy himself - he’s THAT good. Chris shows his “client needs first” ethics in every interaction.

We were certainly no stranger to real estate agents as a natural disaster had displaced us and required us to complete our fourth real estate transaction in 1.5 years. However, we were brand new to the Fredericksburg, VA area and knew no one so we starting reading reviews. We saw Chris had glowing positive reviews and decided to use him.

What we got from him far exceeded our expectations. Chris is a PHENOMENAL professional. First, if there is someone with more knowledge of his area, profession, and value - I don’t know that I’d believe they exist. Chris understands the market, home values, and after a short conversation he can help you select (down to the community/neighborhood) what you are looking for in the area. He came prepared BY THE ZIP CODE with maps to our first meeting and showed us areas he thought we’d like homes. He was right too!

His organization and planning was so incredible. We viewed 6 homes in one day and Chris had them timed to the minute and took in consideration drive times, not wasting time by driving back and forth, etc. it was a masterclass of being prepared and thorough.

So in closing, why are we reviewing him when he didn’t actually help us buy our new home (Richmond area)? Because after realizing we couldn’t find exactly what we were looking for in his area, Chris helped us find what we were looking for IN A MARKET HE DOESN’T EVEN REPRESENT Why? Because when he says he wants to help you find what you need, he means it. There were homes we wanted in the areas he described, but none were available, so he helped us find a place somewhere else.

I’m telling you, this one is a no brainer. My wife and I were beyond impressed with Chris. If we ever buy, sell, or anything real estate related ever again - we will definitely use him. 5 stars aren’t enough. Thanks Chris!!

There is no way we can express adequately our appreciation of Chris Ognek’s helpfulness and professionalism. He made everything go smoothly for our family under extraordinary circumstances. My mom and dad decided to move to Virginia in the midst of the COVID crisis. They wanted to be in a home nearer to family. Chris listened carefully to their specific requirements and lined up a few homes for them to visit. At 83, and 87, they needed visits to be kept to a minimum and specific to their needs. Chris met that need. In one day they saw four great houses and were able to choose one that was perfect for them! Now they are five minutes from family, and even in the midst of the corona virus, we can keep an eye on them and they can feel connected to family. Chris was fantastic!!! We were selling and buying a house at the same time. He pulled together a great team, and showed a lot of patience during this whole process!!! He was available for questions, and was prompt in his responses. There were a lot of hiccups in the process for both buying and selling, and Chris and his team got us through those. He was no pressure, always comfortable around him, he put us at ease with the process. He really worked well for us, especially when we were looking at houses to buy. He would do his own inspection of the properties, and then tell us what he found, good and bad, and gave us his opinion. He was also willing to work with me when I traveled, and had to face-time to view houses we were interested in. His recommendations were spot on, as were his suggestions. At no time did we ever question his integrity, and he consistently proved and displayed his professionalism throughout the process. Michelle was always prompt in responding to questions, always punctual to meetings/ showings and was honest when she felt a home may not suit our needs.
