Christa Kearns

Christa joins the Corcoran Group with an all-encompassing background in sales, drafting, and interior design, paired with a degree in historic preservation and community planning with a concentration in economics, real estate, and management.

Born and raised in Westhampton Beach, a Hurricane graduate, Christa certainly is no stranger to the area. Her grandfather started their family business in residential construction spanning from Remsenburg to Montauk, where Christa grew up alongside him on job sites. Her uncle and older brother are both current reputable builders in the local community. Christa attended the College of Charleston where she lived for six years and later moved to sunny San Diego, California, where she was a licensed realtor in the luxury coastal Coronado and La Jolla markets specializing in luxury properties.

Christa had the privilege of working alongside members of the Charleston Board of Architectural Review, Historic Society, and City Planning Department. She studied landscape design and drafted restoration plans for Mt. Zion AME Church. She held an internship with Architectural Digest featured interior design firm and showroom, Fritz Porter, where Christa worked alongside Cullman & Kravis alum, Sarah Hamlin-Hastings.

Christa leads an active-outdoor lifestyle, whether it be competitive rowing, playing tennis, paddle boarding, beach-going, fishing, or skiing. She is passionately active in the Breast Cancer Awareness community and is well known for her fundraising efforts for the cause. Around town you can catch her running, riding her bike, reading in her beach chair, or grabbing a (local favorite) BEC at the deli.

Christa’s thesis was published in 2016 by Storyboard America, where she writes about the importance of preserving the traditions deeply rooted within her family. For that reason, Christa is ecstatic to bring her experience full circle back to her hometown. Her passion for talking with and meeting new people has allowed her to bring an unparalleled personal client experience to each of her transactions. Christa cannot wait to meet you!
