Christen Murphy is a real estate agent with QDM Real Estate, proudly serving clients throughout the Metro East. She holds a B.A. in English and began her professional career as an elementary school teacher, later teaching ESL to adults at Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC).
Christen and her husband, Shaun, co-owned and operated a local renovation company in Belleville for many years, gaining hands-on experience in home construction, remodeling, and investment properties before selling the business. This background naturally led them both into real estate, where Christen now combines her education, communication skills, and real-world housing experience to help clients confidently buy and sell homes.
In addition to traditional real estate services, Christen is also a licensed auctioneer, offering a unique advantage to clients who need assistance liquidating items they prefer not to move.
Her years in education helped her develop essential skills that allow her to serve clients at the highest level, including clear communication, attention to detail, and strong organization. Christen prides herself on her positive attitude and strong work ethic, and her goal is to connect with her clients while making the buying and selling process as stress-free as possible through consistent updates and transparent communication.
