Christian Thede

Born and raised in Berkeley as a second-generation local real estate agent, he along with Anita Thede, built Northbrae Properties into one of the most well-respected boutique, residential brokerage houses in the East Bay. His real estate experience as an agent, over the last 17 years gives him an edge in today's market. Christian’s extensive knowledge from everything construction to local regulations, has been gained though working with outstanding contractors coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the buying and selling process – from basic remodeling, to major renovation and reconstruction projects. Since 1981, the name Thede has been synonymous with fine real estate in the esteemed communities of the East Bay.

Though real estate is Christian's passion, he is also a devoted public servant working with many local charities, including the Contra Costa County Search Rescue as a veteran pilot, first responder and ground tracker. Active and athletic, he enjoys working at his local organic farm, hiking, trail riding, playing with the plethora of animals and is always game for any family activities.
