Born and raised in Minden, NV, and a third generation Nevadan, Christy Canatsey-Nolting is no stranger to this area. Christy has been a real estate agent since 2004. Christy spent time in Las Vegas and Idaho before returning to Carson Valley “I feel blessed to be able to live in this beautiful valley once again.” Prior to returning, Christy spent many years in Las Vegas in the advertising business working as an Account Executive for a Las Vegas radio station and as a Media Buyer for an ad agency. These jobs allowed Christy the opportunity to collaborate directly with client's as well as advertising agencies learning the benefits of effective communication and negotiating skills. Beyond the Real Estate industry, Christy is a member of the local Basque Club as well as the Douglas County Historical Society. While away from business, she enjoys horseback riding, cooking for friends and family and the sandy beaches and blue waters of Lake Tahoe.
