I have worked with Christy Walker for my last 2 successful sales/purchases of homes. Christy is professional and very knowledgeable of the real estate market especially in this area but beyond as well. She has great connections in this market area. When I needed a quick sale, she made it happen. She had great advice for me on how to stage my homes for better showings and took the stress out of everything for me. She is respectful, attentive, and so personable. When I had questions about what movers to use or what handymen to trust, she delivered. It felt like she was always available to me and that I was working with a good friend.

We have used Christy and her team to buy and sell and she is truly one of the best. Sure, they provide the resources to determine price but they have the current knowledge and experience to extrapolate the details as they relate to your property. That is critical in these times. Of course, a realtor's real value comes after the contract is signed. Its having the knowledge and resources to deal with everything from appraisals to inspections and repairs. It is having the experience and the willingness to determine a position and then follow through till that position is met. Decades of experience is irreplaceable especially in an industry that is constantly changing.

We started looking for homes around Lake Norman 3 years ago. We looked up Kim Wilson and, quite frankly she is the BEST Realtor I’ve ever worked with (and I own investment properties in Ft Lauderdale, FL). We visited at least once a month and sometimes twice. Each week was packed with viewings in all of the communities surrounding Lake Norman. She knew everything about them and if I asked a question she didn’t know the answer to she’d find out immediately. She listens to your needs and does the best she can to match them, and Lake Norman is a hard area to do that. She’s an excellent diplomat and nothing rattles her. If she notices damages to be concerned about, she points them out. However never one time did she ever pressure us into “this is the house for you”. She let us make up our own minds with her helpful insights of the region and facts of the homes we viewed. After 3 years we found our home and what should have been an easy transaction, turned into a nightmare because of the Seller. Kim used her skills and together we navigated the purchase. We consider her one of our great friends and can’t wait until our renovations are done so we can throw a party for all of those involved in transforming this into our dream home. So here is thanks to the Christy Walker Team and without question KIM WILSON 🙏👍👍👍

My husband and I began searching the Lake Norman area in 2018. We lived in Florida and weren’t familiar with the area at all. Kim Wilson knew that we weren’t buying right away but willingly took us around, educated us on the towns/cities around the lake, and showed us a variety of living options.
We were unsure of final budget or even property type, but she patiently helped us to explore and fully understand the options. We never felt pushed or pressured in any way. Kim responded to all of our questions and requests promptly and efficiently. When we finally decided on a home in 2021, she was an amazing advocate for us. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home or lot in this area.
