Last fall my mother moved out of her house after living there for 53 years. She asked me to oversee the sale of the house. She also chose Cindy Kennedy to be our real estate agent. She chose Cindy because some time earlier she went to one of Cindy’s open houses where they had shoe covers to protect the floor. On the way out, my mother was struggling with the shoe covers. Cindy got down on her knees and helped my mother. She is that kind of person.

For family reasons we couldn’t put the house on the market until spring. That meant that it sat empty all winter. I live out of state so I had no way of checking on the house. Cindy checked it regularly. She let me know when problems came up and she helped me solve them. In the spring, Cindy sold the house quickly. She was invaluable in navigating the inspections and helping me get the problems resolved.

Through the whole process Cindy was great. She communicated regularly. It didn’t matter what time of day; she was there to give answers. She is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Selling your childhood home is never pleasant, but having Cindy on my side made it just a little easier.

If you need your home sold quickly, hire Cindy. We listed our house and within 7 days, we had multiple offers. She is hard working and dedicated to her clients needs. Cindy was a great help when selling our house in West Dundee and buying a new home in Elgin towards the end of 2018. After seeing the care and friendly reception she gave at countless open houses in the neighborhood, we knew she would be a great choice to help us.

After giving us great advice in what to do to get the house ready to sell (ie less is more), how to price appropriately for market conditions, and helping us stage the house, we received two offers at a price we were happy with on the weekend of the first open house.

She was incredibly patient and flexible in arranging showings for us as we looked for a new house, and went out of her way to work with our schedule. She helped guide our search and helped us find a great new home in Elgin.

We couldn't ask for an better experience selling our house and buying a new home than we had with Cindy Kennedy, and highly recommend her as a realtor.
