About Cindy
Cindy Teem has been a resident of many interesting places (Hong Kong, Vancouver,
Toronto, Iowa City), but she has ultimately chosen Tallahassee as her home. She lives
in Woodgate, one of Tallahassee’s most charming family neighborhoods, where she
and her husband John have raised two delightful children, Brandon and Caylynne. She
has actively participated in her neighborhood association, her children’s schools, the
Girl Scouts and helping with Leon High School Band activities. Some of her favorite
pastimes are growing orchids, raising butterflies, playing tennis and preparing (and
eating!) gourmet foods.
Having a broad perspective on the what makes living in different places special, Cindy

home for the first time or upgrading. At the time her husband joined the FSU faculty in
