Cinthia Thornhill

Cinthia is an Associate Broker at CENTURY 21 New Millennium in Culpeper, Va. She has a very diverse set of experiences that have shaped her into the real estate professional that she is today, from finance to new construction to marketing expertise with more than 25 years in the business. She loves helping people with one of the biggest decisions in their life—where to live—and prides herself on being organized and giving every transaction the attention, it needs. It is fulfilling to walk through the process with someone and to match their vision with a place for them to call home.

Upon graduating from Virginia Tech, Cinthia worked in the banking system. After 10 years of working in the corporate world of finance, she made the transition into real estate. There, she learned the art of the sale and honed her customer service skills. They prided themselves on responding to customers’ questions and requests with lightning speed. Even now, that principle continues to be an important part of her commitment to customers. In 1995, she was recruited through a friend at the local builders association into the world of residential construction. Her construction experiences expanded her skill set into another aspect of the real estate world. She has worked with a group of Construction Superintendents over the last 15 years and has learned the finer details of building a new home. She has sold well over 250 new homes.

This know-how inspired her to successfully get a Virginia Class A Contractor’s license. Her base of expertise and knowledge includes residential and farm properties as well as commercial real estate where she holds an advanced degree known as the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors. Her other certifications include Certified Marketing Professional and Certified Graduate Builder. Whether helping people buy or build a home, just watching their sense of pride in homeownership is truly a fulfilling occupation.
