Claudine Emerson is an Erie native who prides herself on her support of local businesses and her involvement with the community. After obtaining her degree in Mathematics, she taught high school math and authored or edited several software programs, textbooks, and educational supplements. Bitten by the entrepreneurship bug in 2005, she then transitioned into a career that followed her more creative side and her passion for secondhand shopping and home décor. As the prior owner of Milestones Quality Children’s Consignment and Claudine’s Consignment, Claudine has served this region for almost 20 years. She now operates a small resale section called Claudine’s Corner in her old location, while also offering services such as design consultations, occupied home staging, and furnished rental setups.
She is a member of the Apartment Association of NW PA, a volunteer on the Habitat for Humanity ReStore committee, an entrepreneurship speaker for local high school students through the local Career Street program, and the former Treasurer of the Cathedral of St. Paul Episcopal.
In 2019, Claudine purchased her first short-term rental investment property in Erie, sparking a new interest in real estate. She now owns two more short-term rentals in Mayville, NY and Bellefonte, PA.
