Clay is proud to be the third generation to lead TRI Inc Realtors, having learned the Commercial Real Estate Business at the knee of his grandfather, William “Bill” Tate who founded the company in 1954. Both of Clay’s grandparents and mother, Ellen Short, are renown Hall of Fame Realtors with Clay’s father, Jeffrey Short, receiving the first general appraiser designation in the State of Mississippi. “There was never a holiday meal that Real Estate wasn’t a topic. I’ve been in it all my life, whether I liked it or not!” While none can compare to Clay’s real estate pedigree, it’s been his dedication to his clients’ best interest that has earned him his esteemed reputation for market knowledge, and strategic deal structuring while maintaining a high regard for his integrity and business practices. Clay offers advisory in strategic real estate planning, consulting, brokerage services, investment acquisitions and sales, property management, site selection and development.
