With more than 35 years in real estate and financial services, and over $400 million in closed residential sales, Cody is a top DFW Realtor® and licensed Texas broker. Named among "America's Best Real Estate Agents" by RealTrends, Cody is a multiple-time honoree on D Magazine's "Best Realtors®" and Top Producers list, and has received the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award as featured in Texas Monthly magazine. He has appeared on Fox 4 News and as a speaker at various real estate conferences throughout the country.
Prior to real estate, Cody was a successful officer-level manager in the mortgage banking industry with two Fortune 500 companies, and his experience includes presentations to rating agencies and bond insurers including S&P, Duff and Phelps, Moody's, and Fitch. His areas of responsibility included early- and late-stage collections, loss mitigation, default reporting, first legal and REO. He was a member of the corporate due diligence team at Lomas, where he evaluated the potential impact of various mortgage servicing acquisitions in the multi-billion dollar range.
A past presenter at the Texas MBA annual conference, the Five Star Default Servicing Conference, and the Texas State Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education program, Cody is also a past vice-chairman of the Forms and Contracts Committee for the MetroTex Association of Realtors®, where he has served in multiple volunteer roles over the years.
Cody is very involved in the DFW real estate market, including homes, condominiums, townhomes, high-rises, relocation sellers and buyers, investment properties, and new construction. He holds the Advanced Historic Home Specialist designation from Preservation Dallas and loves the character of Dallas' established neighborhoods. As a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he served as President of Toastmasters International, and having been raised in West Texas, Cody truly understands Texas, its many attributes, and creating a wonderful life here.
A long-time Dallas resident, Cody is an avid tennis player and enjoys charitable work and traveling in his spare time. As he put it himself, "Saying 'thank you' is not enough for the clients who have trusted me with the most important and exciting decisions in their lives."
