Colleen Cotter

Colleen is an East Coast native and describes herself as "recovering Type A". Her parents are educators and conducted diplomatic relationships throughout the world while maintaining a home base in Washington, D.C. Consequently, Colleen is well traveled and adapts rapidly to different locales. She also has an avid interest in understanding and respecting different cultures. When Colleen partners with a client it is a relationship, which both parties benefit from. Colleen is a quick study and will "figure things out". She also capitalizes on her large network to have the foresight to make wise investment decisions and to flex with the market. Colleen partners with her clientele to make educated decisions.

Colleen fully commits herself to her client's goals. As an Investor herself, she understands the business and personal vantage points. She also has achieved designations as a Senior Citizen's REALTOR® and an Accredited Buyer's Representative.

Colleen is active in the community and particularly the San Diego arts scene. She is active with the San Diego Art Museum, Alumni associations, the University Club Executive Women's Council and is a Board Member of the Fritz Theater. Colleen is an artist herself. Her ceramics, paintings and greeting cards are showcased in galleries and homes throughout the country.

Colleen was fortunate to receive comprehensive artistic and scholastic scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate school. She earned degrees from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins.

Prior to devoting her skills to real estate, she held professional roles in hospitality, high tech, legal and educational industries. Her most recent high-tech role was to oversee all "out of the box" sales deals in Asia for Sun Microsystems. Anticipating client goals, exceeding expectations, creativity, and aggressive negotiation are her trademarks.
