About Connie
Hello and welcome to my webpage. Thought you might like to know a little bit about me before you place "your life" in my hands :0)
I was born in Wilmington, NC at the old James Walker Hospital which I believe qualifies me as a home town girl, but I have not stayed in one place all my life.
I moved with my family from Wilmington to Whiteville, then to Rocky Point and on to Jacksonville where I finished out my school years.
Married my high school sweetheart, Rick Cox, in 1975 and moved with him to Chapel Hill, NC while he finished his under-grauate degree in Accounting.
We moved to Raleigh, NC in 1977 where we raised our two daughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth, who both followed in their father's footsteps getting their under-graduate degrees from UNC-CH.
During our Raleigh years I worked with BB&T in customer service, construction loans, mortgage loans and newcomer services and then with NC State University at the College of Textiles and the McKimmon Center.
Once the girls started school I was inspired to work towards an under-graduate degree in teaching. But while I was studying at NC State Universtiy and working in adult distance education programs, I begin to think I may enjoy working with adults one on one. So I changed course and got my real estate salesman's license in 1993 instead.
After getting my license and working in the business, I went on to earn my NC Broker's license plus the GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Special
