Corey Bearden

Beginnings
Corey was raised near that large city to the east in the community of Red Oak. He has fond memories of church youth group events, trips to the mountains of Colorado, and (we must include) celebrated success as the Geography Bee Champion in the 8th grade. During high school, Corey had fun playing guitar in a band called “Souls of Fire”. Corey’s college years were spent in Abilene at Hardin-Simmons before he went to Waco’s Truett Seminary on the Baylor campus.

Work and Skills
Prior to funneling his skills into residential real estate, Corey worked as a professional counselor, a vocation that honed his ability to assess, listen, discern and execute interventions with care. Corey resonated with the idea of serving clients through the often complicated processes of home buying and selling. “I see myself as a valuable resource for my clients with the skills to discern the market, respectfully negotiate, and deliver great results in the buying and selling of homes.” He does this while maintaining exceptional communication throughout the process!

Priorities
You can find Corey spending time with his kids, attending local sporting event, or at one of his favorite spots on Magnolia Ave probably on a date with his sweet wife, Jennifer, who teaches kindergarten at Lily B Clayton Elementary. Corey enjoys remodeling his 1920’s Craftsman home where he lives with his family in the Mistletoe Heights neighborhood. When not in the Fort, Corey loves to explore new state or national parks, travel to beautiful places with his family, or continue his quest to hike/climb to the highest point in each state!
