About Courtney

Born and raised on Maui, Courtney Brown is a graduate of Smith College in Massachusetts. A fifth generation kama'aina, she returned to her island home and began her real estate career in 1997, specializing in the West Maui resort areas of Kapalua, Napili, Kaanapali, Lahaina and Launiupoko. Since then, she has represented buyers and sellers of some of the finest resort, golf course, oceanfront and ocean-view properties across the island of Maui. In the past decade, Courtney has personally sold well over $500 million of real estate, often working with international and mainland US buyers who are dreaming of a second home on Maui.

This award can only be received once in a Realtor's career. She consistently ranks as one of Maui's top-selling realtors, and has been recognized by both Hawaii Business Magazine and REAL Trends.

After many years of visiting Maui and renting in Kaanapali, we finally made the decision to buy our own condo at Maui Kaanapali Villas in Kaanapali. Because we had not previously worked with a Maui agent, we felt the most prudent approach was to reach out to an agency with a recognizable name.
Our search led us to Sotheby's International, and the local affiliate, Island Sotheby's Int'l, and ultimately,
agent Courtney Brown. From the first call with Courtney, we knew we had made the right decision.
We found Courtney to be caring, kind and very
easy to talk to. She was also a great listener. Because we were already familiar with MKV, and knowing that our first purchase would be a condo there, the purchase process started very quickly. Courtney was extremely resourceful - she referred us to an amazing lender, a very experienced inspector, and the escrow agent was very helpful.
Courtney's rolodex is filled with so many wonderful
people who assisted us with our move-in. The whole process was seamless. The Aloha Spirit
was ever-present. Living in Rancho Mirage, CA., Courtney enabled us to complete the purchase
without leaving the desert - we only visited the condo during the walk-thru several days before the closing. Amazing. Since closing, we have
gotten to know Courtney and her four-legged assistant, Lily. As a native of Maui, Courtney's knowledge of the island is extensive and very helpful to us. You will not be disappointed if you work with Courtney - you will not only work with a very professional agent, but you are likely to make a new friend for life. Mahalo.
