About Courtney

She has always been an ambassador to the places she loves. Growing up on a horse farm on the Severn River, just outside of Annapolis, MD, she pulled her wagon with seaweed and soft-shell blue crabs to each neighbor. After receiving $0.50 cents per crab and a pat on the head, she then went down the lane, sharing the heritage of her land. Sailing in a regatta for Annapolis Yacht Club, she met her husband, a professional sailor from Newport. Upon moving to RI, she was an Event Sales Manager at Castle Hill Inn for 4 years. A fantastic way of introducing thousands of national and international guests to the island through over two hundred weddings, social and corporate events. Raising her son “On Island” was a completely new experience to love – picnics at 2nd Beach, lacrosse, and Polo at the Glen, surfing and sailing, Whalers Hockey at St. George’s, Portsmouth Abbey, and the Lily Pond. He loved attending Pennfield School in Portsmouth and now boards at Salisbury School in CT. As Marketing Coordinator for Atlantic Stars Hotels & Cruises she introduced many to the area with eight hotels in Newport, Martha’s Vineyard, Manhattan & South Beach as well as three yachts, including Madeleine, RumRunnerII and 160' S/Y Arabella that cruised New England, Maine, and the Caribbean. As Membership Director for the Carnegie Abbey Club (now Aquidneck Club), she inducted over 175 national and international members at the premier sporting estate and lifestyle on the Narragansett Bay. * * * As a Certified Staging Professional and Curator for listing photography – she understands the value of images in this on-line global market. She has been curating interiors for her listings and for colleagues’ listings for the past five years with art and science in mind.
