Craig has been involved in the community since they have moved. He has coached football for 12 years, Track (Hurdles) for three years, and have been a track official for a number of years at Richland HS for Districts/Regionals/and Twilight meets. Currently he is on the board at You Medical, a local Crisis Pregnancy center with offices in Pasco and Kennewick as well as a mobile medical clinic. He has served on the Benton County Truancy Board for 3 years and on the Interscholastic Materials Committee for the Richland School District for the past 5 years. He has also served as a lay minister in his local church, been involved in missions’ programs, led church small groups, and remain active in the Christian Community. He has been a participant in Sharefest, a community service project of the Tri Cities churches, served on the Boat Race Weekend with Lamb Weston, and the past four years with Windermere Real Estate's community day project. He loves serving, love kids, love sports, and helping those less fortunate earn opportunity to succeed!
Prior to Craig’s tenure in the Tri-Cities his wife, two boys and him served in Brazil as full time Missionaries for 7 years. He served as pastor and was the Missions Coordinator for New Church Plants in Brazil where they started 12 churches and trained pastors for ministry. He worked with 2 Orphanages, helping to establish an integration program where the young adults could transition from the orphanage to adult life once they turned 18 and could no longer be a part of the orphanage home. They helped these young adults enter University, find a job, and locate housing. He also served on the board of the second orphanage for 4 years in various capacities.
Craig and his wife have two boys. Their first was born 3 months premature, weighing only 1 lb. 12 oz at birth. He came home on his due date and to date has now graduated High School, bought his own home, married and busy with his life and Army Carreer. Their youngest graduated this past year from George Fox university in Engineering and is working as a Nuclear Fluids Dynamics Engineer in Oregon. His wife has been a nurse at Kadlec Regional Medical Center for 15 years.
