In 1991 Craig Kamps started his 20 year career, and counting, in Real Estate working for GIllentine Associates in Santa Fe, NM. I started out as a research assistant working my way up to a registered Real Estate Appraiser. In 1992 I got married and moved to Pagosa Springs, CO to work for Appraisal Services, Inc as a Licensed Real Estate appraiser. Two years later I became a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser having certifications and working in both New Mexico and Colorado. In 1998 I started my own appraisal and consulting company (Southwest Real Estate Services) and worked for myself until December of 2007. While working as a Real Estate Appraiser I was a member of the Appraisal Institute, American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. I also obtained a Real Estate Brokers license in 2006.
In 2007 I went to work for Timberline Land Corporation as a contract Right-Of-Way Agent here in the San Juan Basin and worked there for two years. Starting in 2010 I took a 5 year break in the real estate world to work in energy production throughout the Rocky Mountain region from New Mexico up north to the Canadian boarder. I have now found myself drawn back into the real estate world.
