Starting to buy a home in the summer of 2022 was a horrifying time, especially as a fist time homeowner. When it came time to sell my mom’s home, we knew who the real estate agent was going to be. From living and working in the local community we know many realtors, and we knew Cristina was the right person for the job.
Cristina’s advertisements along with her support of local events in the community and schools is fantastic. Her social media presence is great and it is obvious that she cares about her work, as well as the greater community. She has a great track record and tons of experience.
Cristina worked with us to not just set a fair, reasonable price, but also to advise us throughout the entire process. The house needed a lot of work to be ready for sale. She helped us set a realistic timeline and gave great advice on effectively disposing of the contents of the house. As we went through tag sales, donations, bulk pickups, etc., she was there advising and encouraging us.
Within a few days of listing, we had a half dozen offers. Cristina reviewed the pros and cons of each with us and together we quickly made a decision. After going back and forth a bit, the deal was set. From listing to closing the entire process took about two months.
This was a time-consuming, emotional event. Cristina was there every step of the way, making herself available by phone, text, email, and on the weekends and evenings. Cristina sold my condo in Mahopac. She was very knowledgeable of the area and told me just what to do to make my house sell faster. Cristina encompasses professionalism and kindness and truly made made the whole home buying experience quite pleasurable. Looking for a home in a short period of time during the pandemic proved to be very challenging.  Cristina's understanding and honesty made it easy for us as first time home buyers to find our way to our lovely home. We have often heard that many realtors cannot be bothered with first time home buyers with limited funds. This was DEFINITELY  not the case with Cristina. She guided us gingerly through every step along the way while holding our hands with complete patience.  Her knowledge of homes in general helped guide us through decisions as well as helping us determine what exactly we needed and wanted. As difficult situations arose, Cristina's expertise  made our navigation through these tough waters a breeze. We could never imagine going though the process without her. Cristina is amazing! She is professional, honest, knowledgeable, resourceful & reliable. She is someone that loves her job and loves to see people happy. I contacted Cristina Gameiro as soon as I thought about selling as she was the one who had helped me buy it several years ago and she was amazing back then.
