Cynthia has been an Upcountry Maui resident and Realtor of nearly 30 years and truly enjoys Real Estate and serving her clients well. She loves working with people and is thankful for the many friendships created through her working relationships. Maui originally drew her to her beautiful shores in about 1984 when she left the "steep and deep" shores of Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico, coming to windsurf and then continuing to relocate here and open a windsurf travel business. Soon thereafter she turned her full-time attention to Maui Real Estate. A few years later she continued her Real Estate education and acquired her Brokers’ License, which benefits she has shared with her clients for over 25 years. Since then, she has enjoyed being named to the Top 100 Hawaii Realtors in 2009 and has been a consistent top-producer within her brokerage. Island Sotheby's International Realty (ISIR) is a great firm to work with and has incredible resources, tools, and international reach for her to serve her clients extremely well. Our Makawao ISIR office has been the Number 1 top producing brokerage in the Upcountry area since opening our office in 2007. Our ISIR offices in Wailea and on the West-side also enable us to serve her clients well. She believes that she offers a unique combination of attention to detail and financial aptitude...along with an ability to "see the bigger picture." Her positive orientation, thorough and creative abilities are further enhanced by her educational background including a master’s degree in business administration. She has extensive hands-on design and construction experience and thrives on the creative process of "transformation". She studied Architecture at Cornell University in 1976. She loves building projects and has designed, built, or remodeled more than a dozen homes on Maui. Her background and knowledge is a great asset in helping her clients to realize un-tapped potential in finding and making a more beautiful place to call home or preparing a home to sell. Many people say that she is a natural diplomat and problem-solver. She maintains integrity and excels in seeking "win-win" solutions and assisting her clients smoothly to and beyond closings. She is also managed several small land development projects and has learned the inner workings of practical improvements and governmental requirements for subdivisions and land projects, including water well development. Serving her fellow Realtor's and the Community, she sits on the Volunteer panel of the Realtors Association of Maui (RAM) Professional standards and Arbitration Committee as well as having previously served on other RAM committees including the Grievance Committee. She also enjoys keeping up to date, involved and serving her Upcountry community as an Officer and Board Member of the Makawao Community Association. Beyond being happy with her work, she loves living Upcountry in Olinda and being a mom, an artist, as well as enjoying traveling, swimming, skiing, personal growth and well-being, environmental involvement, and helping to make a better world. Maui is indeed "no ka oi" (the best). She would be pleased to help you, whether working with you to help achieve your investment objectives or helping you to find your way to making Maui "home", now or in the future.
