I do not easily give superlative grades but Dan Acton deserves such praise. I have purchased four (4) homes prior to the home Dan helped with, I have worked for many years in law, and in commercial leasing so I can recognize a truly great negotiator and an expert at one's business such as Dan. My parameters for the family vacation home I purchased through Dan continued to shift to a point where Dan really was helpful in advising and honing my requirements so that I soon figured out what I wanted and where I wanted to be in the area. Dan is very familiar with the area, its people, and other environmental factors which make his insights quite valuable as a real estate sales expert. Dan was very patient and courteous through this process, he was always diligent and timely, but never pushy. Dan's intuition was right on target and he quickly figured out what it was that would best suit us and he did not mindlessly show me or email me properties simply to get a sale. Dan was good about making himself available and accessible either by phone, email or in person. Working with Dan was one of the few times that I felt I had somone working with me whom had my best interest at heart in guiding us to make the right purchase for our family. We chose to work with Dan Acton throughout 2016 and 2017 in search of our perfect pre-retirement home in Leavenworth after two successful previous collaborations in the last 8 years. We thoroughly enjoy working with Dan, and we also know we are in excellent hands. Dan has an easy personality to get along with on long drives to distant homes in the surrounding areas, but his vast years of experience in the area and knowledge of the real estate and land purchasing process all make him an outstanding Realtor. This time, he patiently looked at houses with us for over a year before we found the perfect match. It took time for the right home to go on the market, but when we found it, we knew because we'd seen so many close matches in the area already. He also helped us negotiate a stellar deal on the house, making the purchase even sweeter. And now we will be working with him again to sell our riverfront property. Over the years, we've seen Dan's office move and upgrade locations, the website go through dramatic improvements and the implementation of electronic signing documents which all show that he is keeping up with the technology of the real estate industry. He is an excellent agent with deep breadth of local knowledge, properties, histories and real estate skills.

We worked with Dan for over two years trying to find our dream property to build on. He couldn't have been a better resource. Dan provided us with insight (good and bad) on every listing to make the correct purchase. He always made sure the properties we looked at were in our best interest. No high pressure selling, quick to respond, most importantly honest and friendly. If you are thinking about buying in the greater Leavenworth area, Dan will not disappoint.
