Dan is a Central Illinois native who grew up on a farm near the Clinton Lake area. He worked at the Illinois Central railroad in his college years and later gained a top position as the regional manager for Allied Van Lines covering the Decatur, Champaign, and Danville areas. Not only is he savvy when it comes to business needs, he was also well known throughout Central Illinois as the "go to mover" while at Allied Van Lines. Dan has a unique, diverse background as he served our country as naval intelligence during the Vietnam War before returning to college. He previously raced stock cars and now participates in auto-cross racing with the local sports car club. He is married with two grown daughters in the Chicago area and has two grandchildren as well.
