Whether assisting a family with downsizing, helping a trustee sell an estate property, guiding a client through a 1031 exchange, or creating a strategy for building generational wealth, my focus is always on helping clients protect what they've built and pass on what matters most.
My path to real estate began long before I became a Realtor. I spent more than 20 years in engineering, food processing, and distribution, managing capital projects, improving operational efficiency, and negotiating contracts. Those experiences developed the analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills I bring to every client relationship today.
My passion for helping seniors and families is also deeply personal. Through my own family's experience navigating dementia, assisted living, and memory care, I gained firsthand understanding of the challenges families face when making housing, financial, and caregiving decisions. That experience allows me to provide guidance with both expertise and compassion.
Today, The Burk Team serves clients throughout Salem, Keizer, and the Willamette Valley, helping buyers, sellers, trustees, and investors make confident decisions during life's most important transitions.
