Initially a real estate investor, Dana bought, renovated, and sold a number of properties for her own account. With the decision to make real estate a full-time profession, Dana formed the Dana Rice Group, affiliated with Compass in Washington, D.C. where she is Executive Vice President, and has been named one of Washington top producers since the inception of her business.

Although Dana and her group represent buyers and sellers in the wider Metro Washington, D.C. area, her key focus is the neighborhoods of Northwest Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas of Montgomery County, Maryland. Her 25+ years of marketing, advertising, and negotiating skills, plus knowledge of the ins and outs of living in the DC Metro area, translates into helping buyers and sellers make the best, most informed decisions about real estate.

Dana has been named as one of Washingtonian's 'Top 100 ' in DC, Best of Washington, 2015-2024; Bethesda Magazine's "Best of" Top Teams; #1 team in year-over-year growth and Top Ten Producer Awards. She was named DC Metro Top Producer “Rising Star of the Year," one of RealTrends America’s Best.
