About Daniel

YES…I am one of the few, the proud who actually grew-up here on the Seven Mile Island (Avalon/Stone Harbor)! I attended Avalon Public School, Wildwood Catholic High School and the University of South Florida. Upon graduating college, I immediately obtained my real estate license in 1989 and began renting & selling real estate in Avalon/Stone Harbor! In 2003, after hundreds of hours of experience and study, I obtained a “GRI” Designation (Graduate Realtor Institute) from the NJ Association of Realtors – the GRI Designation is earned after extensive study in real estate issues ranging from financing & appraisals to marketing & ethics. In 2004, I obtained my Broker’s Real Estate License after nearly 300 hours of additional study! I have been extremely fortunate to work with a First Class team of dedicated real estate agents and assistants. The Ferguson Dechert Team works well together – we willingly share information & suggestions with the goal of helping each other to better assist our clients & customers…this is a MAJOR difference I’ve witnessed between our office and the competition! Every year since 1995, our sales team has been the top-producing agency in Avalon/Stone Harbor, and I am proud to consistently be one of the top-producing realtors in Avalon/Stone Harbor and within the Top 1% in the entire County!. As they say, it is difficult to reach the top, yet it is even more challenging to maintain that position! Whether working on a weekend rental or a multi-million dollar sale transaction, I have a passion to please my clients and customers! And of course, success would be elusive without the blessing of a supportive family. My wife Jennifer is an Emergency Room nurse. She is studying to be a Nurse Practitioner…and is almost there! Jen also works as our Team Manager handling a myriad of important Administrative Tasks aimed at keeping things running smoothly & efficiently. My daughter Lauren is engaged to be married. She graduated from the Univ of Maryland’s Honor College and works here in Cape May County as a social worker. My son Daniel joined our Team in 2019 as a Customer Service Liaison and since graduating from the Univ of Tampa in 2021, he joined our Team Full Time as a Sales & Rental consultant.
