Daniel Ellis

Daniel Ellis was born and raised in Newburgh, NY, (Hudson Valley region located one hour north of New York City). Growing up in New York state was great and rich in history, however, Daniel found the economic climate too expensive to maintain. Daniel had long dreamed of moving south, and while on his visit in August of 2004, he fell in love with Lexington's beautiful clean city, the friendly people, and the famous bluegrass charm that is so coveted by the local natives. He discovered that Lexington is as rich in History as Newburgh. It was during his stroll through the Woodland Arts Fair that he decided to make Lexington his home. Daniel made the move in 2005 and has been here for over 15 years.
Daniel worked various jobs and was able to purchase two homes. He sold one of his homes as a "For Sale by Owner" in 2009. During this transaction, his mortgage loan officer suggested that he would make a successful career as a realtor because he found Daniel to be capable, honest, respectful, and courteous! Daniel decided to go for it. With dedication and hard work, Daniel obtained his real estate license by the end of 2009. In January of 2010, he became a member of (LBAR) Lexington Bluegrass Association of Realtors. And true to his entrepreneurial spirit, in April 2014, he furthered his career by obtaining his brokerage license as a real estate Broker/Owner under the name of MetroMax Realty.
