I cannot recommend Dan Harris enough as a real estate agent. I was incredibly fortunate to have Dan as my realtor, and I could not be happier with the experience! He was incredibly patient throughout the entire process, and was open and honest at every step of the process. In addition, he was extremely prompt and responsive, helping get my questions answered without delay (and there were a lot of questions). It cannot be overstated how amazing it was to have someone so knowledgeable about local neighborhoods, home fixtures, electrical and HVAC systems, and everything else under the sun. He took great, personal interest in seeing all of the houses that I was interested in, going so far as to join me at open houses -- even on extremely short notice.

Dan Harris was a brilliant, effective real estate agent to work with as we bought a new home. I would highly recommend Dan Harris based on his knowledge of the local area, effective and clear communication, and his ability to help negotiate a fair price.

We were moving to Pittsburgh from out of town, and Dan was incredibly helpful coordinating the long distance purchase. He provided video tours of houses, investigated properties for us, and during the search process sent us homes and information about neighborhoods. He got to know us quickly, and he was able to make recommendations that suited our family's needs.

Once we found a home we wanted to put a bid on, Dan quickly submitted the paperwork and connected with the seller's agent. Thanks to Dan's knowledge of the local real estate market, we were able to get our bid submitted quickly and accepted in a highly competitive market.

Not only was Dan incredibly knowledgeable about the local market, but he was incredibly deft at the entire buying/selling process: he was able to answer all of our questions about the process, he connected us with local mortgage brokers, provided information on home warranties, and knew every document that needed to be signed from beginning to end.

When we had a question, Dan provided answers quickly -- he was available via text, email, and phone call. When he received updates, he shared those with us quickly. Despite being out of town, we never felt removed from the process or left in the dark.

Dan helped us negotiate with the sellers after the inspection revealed some minor issues. In addition, Dan went out of his way to help us, like helping us coordinate our move-in, providing information about how to get parking permits for the moving truck. In short, Dan continuously went above and beyond.

And, he did all of this while remaining friendly and professional.

The entire process was incredibly smooth and easy thanks to Dan's expertise. We highly recommend working with Dan Harris!!

My wife and I met Dan in the sunroom of an open house event that we almost chose not to attend due to the rain that day, but boy are we glad that we had umbrellas!

Thanks to his unique charismatic blend of professionalism, transparency, and (not least of all) witty humor, Dan left a fantastic first impression on us that afternoon. He served us and the sellers as a diplomatic dual agent for that same house, where he walked us through pretty much the entire home buying process from start to finish. Dan was exceptionally responsive and communicative, yet we never felt rushed or "pushed"; rather, we felt empowered to make decisions on our own terms, and only after all of our questions had been answered. Notably, Dan demonstrated a keen understanding of our needs and priorities by sharing similar listings with us throughout the process. He was also instrumental in helping us craft a reasonable and respectful offer that satisfied both parties.

We are writing this review from the same sunroom in which we met Dan, only now the sunroom (and the rest of the house) is ours. As first-time homebuyers, we remain grateful that we chose to put on our raincoats earlier this spring to go to Dan's open house. In him we gained a trusted realtor, an empowering advocate, and a new friend. Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently sold our home, and our sales agent was Dan Harris (REMAX). Dan worked tirelessly to expedite the transaction, to include making key suggestions on improvements, establishing an accurate selling price, and providing access to vendors who did excellent work. Dan worked smoothly with the buyers' agent from start to closing, He provided needed assistance in meeting the local and county inspections and obtaining required permits. All the while, Dan actually made the whole process enjoyable. We highly recommend that a seller consider Dan when buying or selling property.

To be honest, I bumbled into the home-buying experience. I knew nothing about it. Dan was patient enough to give me a bit of an education! His experience with homes and interior design helped me see the potential in the homes he showed me. Dan was a godsend for us dealing with a long distance purchase. We were on site for about 3 weeks and he was very dedicated to meeting our goals withing our limited time frame. My wife and I had an excellent experience working with Dan! We ended up getting the house of our dreams thanks to Dan's tireless work. The house was listed unexpectedly in a very in-demand market. Dan had us in the house within 24 hours, and then stayed up late and put our offer in that night, which allowed us to negotiate the price with the buyer and get the house below asking price.
