Daniel Staley

Dan is dedicated to customer service, prioritizing the needs of his clients above all else. With seven generations of Staley family history in Rhinebeck and three generations involved in Staley Real Estate, he brings a deep-rooted connection to the community. Since becoming a licensed agent in 1996, Dan has cultivated expertise in negotiations, planning and zoning, 1031 exchanges, income properties, residential and commercial real estate, property management, building and construction, and subdividing. His knowledge extends to the rich history of Northern Dutchess County.

A veteran of the US Army who served in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Dan has also contributed to local governance as a former Rhinebeck Town Councilman (2008-2012). His leadership roles include serving as President of the Dutchess County Association of Realtors (DCAR) in 2020-2021, earning recognition as DCAR Realtor of the Year in 2021. He has represented the National Association of Realtors as the Federal Political Coordinator for NY's 18th Congressional District.

In addition to his professional commitments, Dan volunteers locally with the American Legion Post 429 Color Guard, the Wilderstein Historic Site Membership Committee, and as a Director at Ferncliff Forest Inc.
