Five stars but would be 10 if I could! David was amazing! He took on the sale of my home after I had to leave/move unexpectedly for a new position. I had to leave in a rush so I was not able properly move everything, clean, or do repairs. David was willing to work with me remotely to quickly get the house in show ready condition using his extensive list of contacts and connections. He took care of every detail! The house was only listed for 2 days with favorable interest and we received our best offer in those 2 days for over the amount we listed. On top of that, he found a cash offer which was able to move quickly through escrow. His confidence and knowledge showed through every interaction and communication. If you’re looking to buy or sell a home, Dave is your guy. At our very first meeting, Dave set up an interactive website with filters to show houses that are within our budget, in the areas of the city we wanted to live, and with all the amenities and features we wanted to include or exclude. David is an excellent realtor and I am very happy to have worked with him on the sale of our home. I know it is a seller’s market, and almost everyone is able to get higher than the list price, but David proved his value both in the marketing and sale, and (very importantly) during the escrow period.
David’s information gathering and marketing process is first-rate. He brought us extensive information and personal knowledge of the market, informing our decision to pick an appealing list price and generate massive buyer interest. We expected to exceed the list price, but we were amazed to exceed it by over $300k!
I have bought and sold a few times now, and the escrow period is most critical time to have a solid realtor, in my opinion. As inspections came through and disclosures were finalized, David helped us to navigate and close escrow, providing guidance and assurance when it felt like everything might fall apart at any moment.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with David. This was my first experience selling a home and I was intimidated by the process. As a busy professional I needed someone that could take the reins. David is knowledgeable, professional, timely, trusting, and most importantly straight forward. House went on the market on a Wednesday, by Thursday we had 6 showings scheduled, and had offers by Friday. He was detailed and strategic with helping me pick through the many offers and explained the risks and benefits of each. As someone trapped with the makeup of a Perfectionist, few services and very few providers impress me -- David Goodman has been a bright example otherwise! I am exceptionally pleased that I selected David (from five interviewed agents) to represent my elderly mother's home sale in Del Mar.
