David Johnson

David has been with his wife for 18 years and has raised two sons. Born in Louisiana, he travelled the globe with his military family for most of his young life. He spent most of his school age years in Harlingen, Texas and was already a retail manager by the time he was in high school. He attended Texas Southmost College in Brownsville as a Criminal Justice Major. After relocating to Montgomery, Alabama, he was in retail management for five years before becoming an Insurance Agent for Atlanta Life. Because he grew up visiting his grandparents on Lake Livingston, and is an avid fisherman, he eventually made Texas his home and went to work for American General Life & Casualty. By the late 90's he was in sales for Dawson Mobile Homes and later became General Manager of Oakwood Mobile Homes. David then went into the loan business and worked for Houston Home Loans before obtaining his real estate license in 2001. He began as an independent agent with Realty Associates. Because he couldn't shake the urge to travel that was the norm in his younger years, he spent a few years as a truck driver before he decided to return to real estate. David joined the White Ivy Team in June of 2015, and as of June 2017 is with Pinnacle Realty Advisors. David spends most of his free time boating and fishing on Lake Livingston, which happens to be in his back yard.
